GRAND LAUNCH OF SELF-RELIANT FARMER CAMPAIGN (SURAT)

Surat ( Gujarat ): More than 7500 people of Surat Varachha and its surrounding villages attended the grand launch ceremony of Atma Nirbhar Kisan (the Self-Reliant Farmer) Campaign organized by the Brahma Kumaris of Varachha in Surat. This Campaign will give the message of sustainable Yogic Farming practices for sel-reliant farmers in more than 300 villages in the surrounding areas.
The ceremony was inaugurated by BK Purnima, Sub-Regional In-charge of Brahma Kumaris in Nadiad Subzone; BK Trupti, National Coordinator of Agriculture and Rural Development Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation; Sashi Kumar, Chief Forest Conservator; BK Rajesh Dave; R. M. Patel, Principal and Dean of Aspee Shakilam Biotechnology Institute, Surat; Mr. Ajit, Head of Taluka Panchayat; and Mr. Arvind, President of Bharatiya Vidyamandal, with a lamp-lighting ceremony.
BK Trupti explained the aim and objective of this campaign to the audience. BK Rajesh Dave gave the inaugural speech. BK Purnima also expressed her good wishes. All the participants of this campaign were felicitated.
